Hello turkey

This was a picture taken about 2 weeks ago. Not only are there geese in this area, but there are turkeys.

Yes- I work in a zoo.

Yes- there humans are animals too.

When I tried to get a picture of the turkey up close, it immediately laid down and pretended to sleep. It is quite funny.

I heard this weekend is going to be warmer.

I had lunch by myself again and dozed off for 15 minutes. Although I hate to nap in public, it is quite nice to have an opportunity to nap. It is so refreshing. A 15 min nap equates to 2 cups of coffee; quite a tradeoff. Now, if only I can learn how to nap at my desk sitting straight up...
