Hello getting Linked In

{my favorite shoe- somehow; also one of my favorite pix; i love the contrast in colors of my shoes with the grass} {my colleague one day pointed out that my shoe is missing a diamond and I said I know- and he asked why don't I replace it- and i was like, I like it the way it is, it adds character. I don't like replacing items just because it is missing some minor elements. In fact, I hate it- so don't ask me to replace something for small details. If you must know, I lost the little diamond because I was trying to clean out the sands from my shoes and somehow I banged the shoe too hard and the diamond conspicuously slipped out.} LinkedIn is a great tool for networking. With that said, you would think I would have a great profile- but i do not. Compare to the profiles and connections that other people have on LinkedIn makes my profile look lame. I was able to sync up with one of my old bosses' boss and below is a recommendation he had for me! Just reading the first line blew me away! His description is just so outstanding and unbelievable. Yes- unbelievable- because I don't believe I am that talented. Bel0w is one line that I like the most: " She is a proven rainmaker with the discipline, creativity, domain knowledge and contacts needed to quickly and efficiently deliver results measured in top-line revenue and customer satisfaction"

A "rainmaker"?? I don't even know what that means. Reading his recommendations seriously makes me blush. But happy. Now my LinkedIn profile is starting to look more polish...
